Most of the problems we get called out to fix trace back to how the system was installed. Equipment sized by guesswork, ductwork that can't move the air, a condenser sitting unlevel. A new system is a 15–20 year decision, so we take the time to measure the house, size the equipment to it, and do the parts nobody sees properly — because that's what determines whether it still works well in year twelve.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size system does my home need?
It depends on the house, not its square footage alone — insulation, windows, air sealing, orientation, and ceiling height all change the answer. We run a load calculation to size it properly. Oversizing is the most common mistake in this trade: an oversized system short-cycles, never runs long enough to pull humidity out of the air, and wears out sooner.
How long does an installation take?
A straight equipment swap using existing ductwork is usually one day. A full changeout, a ductless system with several indoor heads, or anything involving new ductwork typically runs two to three days. You'll get a realistic schedule before we begin, not an optimistic one.
Will my existing ductwork work with a new system?
Sometimes, but it's worth checking rather than assuming. Ductwork that was undersized or leaky for the old system will strangle a new one, and you'll never see the efficiency you paid for. We inspect the ducts as part of the assessment and tell you honestly whether they need sealing, modification, or replacement.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. HVAC replacements in Massachusetts generally require a permit and an inspection, and we coordinate that as part of the job. It also protects you — permitted, inspected work is what keeps your equipment warranty and your homeowner's insurance intact.
