Heating & Air Conditioning in Raynham, MA

All of Raynham sits in TMLP territory — which means a different rebate program than most of Massachusetts, and one worth using.

Serving Raynham

A neighboring town, not a far-off service area

Raynham sits between Taunton and Bridgewater, a straightforward run from our shop inMiddleboro. We've been working in these towns since 1996 — boilers, furnaces, ductless and ducted heat pumps, air conditioning, and commercial work.

The housing here spans a wide range, from older homes with hydronic baseboard and oil-fired boilers to newer developments built around forced air. We work on all of it, and we service any brand regardless of who installed it.

Important for Raynham Homeowners

Raynham is a TMLP town, not a Mass Save town

Raynham's electricity comes from Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant (TMLP), the municipal utility based in Taunton. Because it's municipally owned rather than investor-owned, Raynham is outside the Mass Save program for electric measures — those rebates and the 0% HEAT Loan are funded by Eversource, National Grid, and Unitil customers.

One thing that works in Raynham's favor: unlike neighboring Bridgewater and Lakeville — where TMLP covers only sections of town and residents have to check which utility they're on — all of Raynham is TMLP territory. There's no ambiguity about which program applies to you.

That program is TMLP Saves™, and it's a genuinely competitive one: rebates toward cold-climate air source and ground source heat pumps, incentives for weatherization and air sealing, higher tiers for income-qualified households, and azero-interest loan for energy improvements. Free home energy assessments come through Energy New England.

We're a participating contractor for the program. The rebate requires a listed installer — hire someone who isn't on the list and the money isn't available to you, no matter how the quote looked.

Program terms reset periodically. Confirm current rebate levels and loan terms onTMLP's program page, or call and we'll walk you through it.

Choosing a System Here

What we'd look at first

Whether natural gas is on the table depends on whether there's a main on your street, which varies block to block. That's the first thing worth confirming, because it shapes everything after it.

Coming off oil

With TMLP's heat pump rebates and zero-interest loan available, converting from oil is more affordable here than the sticker price suggests. You also gain central air conditioning in the same project instead of buying it separately later.

Existing forced air

If your ductwork is sound, you have options: a high-efficiency furnace, or a ducted heat pump that uses the same duct runs. We check duct condition and sizing first — undersized ducts undermine either choice.

Hydronic baseboard

Plenty of Raynham homes run boilers and baseboard, and there's nothing wrong with that when the system is in good shape. We repair and replace boilers, and can add ductless cooling without disturbing the heating system.
