This is worth stating plainly, because the towns immediately around Carver are a patchwork. Middleboro andLakeville are on a municipal utility and getno Mass Save benefits. Taunton,Raynham andBerkley are on another one.
Carver isn't. Your electricity is delivered by Eversource, an investor-owned utility — which means you're inside the Mass Save programand eligible for the statewide incentives your neighbors a few miles away can't touch.
In practice that means rebates toward qualifying heat pumps and equipment, a free home energy assessment, incentives for insulation and air sealing, and the0% HEAT Loan — interest-free financing for qualifying efficiency work. We don't offer in-house financing, so for Carver customers that loan is usually the most useful money on the table.

One Common Question
Does the town's electricity program change any of this?
No. Carver runs a Community Electricity Aggregation program, which negotiates thesupply portion of your bill on residents' behalf. Eversource still handles delivery — and Mass Save is funded through delivery charges. So being on the town's aggregation plan doesn't affect your eligibility for rebates or the 0% HEAT Loan one way or the other.
